Dr. Trevor Seaton

Dr. Trevor Seaton graduated in Medicine at the University of the West Indies, then did Specialty Training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He has been on the Faculty of McMaster University Medical School, and the Hamilton Teaching Hospitals for more than 30 years. He has held various leadership roles at McMaster including Program Director in Internal Medicine, and Gastroenterology, Chief of Medicine, and has been an Examiner for the Royal College Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a member of the Credentials Committee of the Royal College. He is Board Certified by the American College of Medicine, a Fellow of the Royal College of Canada, Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, and immediate Past President of the Association of West Indian Gastroenterologists.

His Clinical Practice has been in General Gastroenterology, Therapeutic Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and ERCP, with a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and prevention and management of Colon Cancer. Dr Seaton continues to work in Canada, but has had a Consulting Practice in Grand Cayman for 14years, and has been a foundation member of IMS.
